The Speed Test Groups page allows you to manage speed test groups for the selected company. A speed test group is a set of sites that share a speed test schedule.

The Speed Test Groups list displays the selected company’s existing speed test groups.

Filters

Use the filter form to refine the Speed Test Groups list.

Company

Choose the Company whose speed test groups you want to include.

Scope

Choose whether or not to include speed test groups from child companies (customers) of the Company.

Columns

• [EDIT] – edit button
• SPEED TEST GROUP – name of the group
• COMPANY – name of the company associated with the group
• SITE QTY – number of sites in the group
• WAN TEST FREQUENCY – how often wired WAN networks are tested
• CELL TEST FREQUENCY – how often cellular WAN networks are tested
• [DELETE] – delete button

Actions

Edit Speed Test Group

To edit an existing speed test group, click its gear icon button. This will open the Edit Schedule form (see below for details).

Delete Speed Test Group

To delete an existing speed test group, click its minus icon button. This will ask you to confirm the deletion. If you are certain you want to delete the speed test group, click the “OK” button.

Add Speed Test Group

To add a new speed test group, click the “Add a New Group” button below the Speed Test Groups list. This will open the Add Schedule form (see below for details).

Use the Add Schedule form to create a new speed test group schedule for the selected company.

Speed Test Group

Name

Enter a unique, informative, and memorable name for this group.

Wired WAN Settings

WAN Networks

Choose which wired networks to test for this group.

• Primary Wired WAN Only
• All Wired WANs
• Disabled

Test Frequency

Choose how often to test wired networks for this group.

Test Window

Choose the window of time when wired network tests should be run for this group.

Test Size

• Small – suitable for Cellular WAN
• Medium – suitable for Wired WAN and Cellular WAN with unlimited plan
• Large – suitable for Wired WAN

Cellular WAN Settings

Cellular Networks

Choose which wireless networks to test for this group.

• Primary Cell Only
• Disabled

Test Frequency

Choose how often to test wireless networks for this group.

Test Window

Choose the window of time when wireless network tests should be run for this group.

Test Size

• Small – suitable for Cellular WAN
• Medium – suitable for Wired WAN and Cellular WAN with unlimited plan
• Large – suitable for Wired WAN

Save Schedule Button

Click the “Save Schedule” button to create a new speed test group schedule with these settings.

Edit Schedule Form

Use the Edit Schedule form to update an existing speed test group schedule for the selected company.

Make your desired changes, then click the “Save Schedule” button to update the speed test group schedule.

Sites in Group

Use the Sites in Group list to view the sites that are currently in this speed test group.

Remove Sites from Group

Use the “-” buttons to delete sites from this speed test group.

Add Sites to Group

Use the Add Sites to Group form to add sites to this speed test group.

Use the filters to make it easier to find the sites to add.

Use the top checkbox to select all sites in the list or check individual checkboxes next to sites to select them. Click the “Add Sites” button to add the selected sites to this speed test group.
