Traceroute

Overview

The Diagnostics page allows you to issue diagnostic commands to the selected Mako and then view the diagnostic results.

The “Traceroute” diagnostic command allows you to view and analyze packet paths for your network traffic.

To execute the “Traceroute” diagnostic command, click its radio button in the Command column of the list. This will open the Traceroute form (Fig. 1) in a new window.

IP Address

Enter the destination IP address for the traceroute.

Traceroute Data Size

Enter the number of bytes of data to send.

Source Interface/IP

Enter the name or IP address of the interface that should send the traceroute. Leave this blank for the default interface.

Traceroute Button

Click the “Traceroute” button to send a traceroute from the source interface to the destination IP address.
